What it is

Google AI Studio is Google's workspace for the Gemini models. In Build mode, an app is created from a description or a sketch: Gemini writes the code in React and Node.js, and since 2026 it can also build native Android apps. You can use it without a subscription, and the first two apps can be deployed to Google Cloud for free, with no credit card. For a working product, check Google Cloud pricing.
