Nano Banana (Gemini)

What it is

Nano Banana is the name of Google's image models in Gemini. Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, February 26, 2026) became the standard model for all users of the app: it's fast, supports resolutions from 512 px to 4K, and keeps up to five characters and 14 objects looking consistent. Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can regenerate an image with Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) for harder tasks. Text on images works in many languages, and images carry a SynthID watermark.
