Cursor
A VS Code-based code editor with AI agents, a free Hobby plan and Pro at $20 a month.
What it is
Cursor is a fork of VS Code with deep AI built in: chat with your codebase, Tab autocomplete, agents and cloud agents. Its models include its own Composer and third-party ones; see Cursor's site for the current list. In September 2026 Projects arrived in beta: large tasks that a coordinator splits between agents. Plans: Hobby (free), Pro ($20 a month), Pro+ ($60) and Ultra ($200). It's built for people who work with code; for a first MVP without code, Lovable or Bolt is simpler.
