Email after a call
A same-day recap: the goal, what each side agreed to with dates, open questions and the next step.
What it is
A recap email protects both sides: a month from now nobody has to remember who promised what. Send it the same day as the call, while the details are fresh. If the call was recorded with the other person's consent, AI can fill in the template from the transcript in a minute, but read the commitments yourself.

Hi [Name],
Thanks for your time today. Here's what we agreed on, so nothing gets lost.
THE GOAL
[1–2 sentences: what you want to get and why.]
WHAT MATTERS
- [requirement or constraint 1: deadline, budget, format]
- [requirement or constraint 2]
WHAT WE AGREED ON
- Me: [what I'm doing] by [date]
- You: [what you're sending or deciding] by [date]
OPEN QUESTIONS
- [what still needs to be clarified, and with whom]
Next step: [a call / a proposal / a trial task] on [date and time].
If I got anything wrong, please correct me by replying to this email.

HOW TO REFINE THIS WITH AI
Paste your notes or the transcript of the call: "Here are my notes from the call: [paste]. Fill in the email template below using only what's in the notes. Leave anything that's missing in square brackets and list what I still need to clarify. Don't add any agreements of your own." Upload a transcript only if the other person knew the call was being recorded.Professions it helps
