What it is

In Google Ads, the AI features live inside the campaigns themselves: AI Max for Search campaigns and Performance Max across all Google channels. In 2026 Google is adding testing tools: A/B tests of budgets and target return across several Search campaigns (from September) and an improved Performance Planner. There's no separate fee for the tool; you pay your ad budget. A beginner should start with a small budget and keep an eye on negative keywords.
