What it is

Google Search Console shows the queries, clicks, impressions and positions of your site in Google Search, plus indexing status, errors, Core Web Vitals and structured data. You can submit a sitemap and inspect a specific URL. It's free; you need a Google account and have to verify that you own the site. It's a sensible place to start any SEO work: paid services estimate your traffic, while Search Console shows Google's own data about your site.
